GUATEHUIPIL

We are a Guatemala Textile platform, created to value, preserve and promote the art of weaving in Guatemala. We were born in moments of crisis, in order to support the different groups of weavers in the country and thus achieve the continuity of the fight for the recognition and protection of Mayan designs as part of the collective heritage of the indigenous communities of Guatemala. We support Maya Weavers selling their beautiful Guatemala Huipiles.

Somos una plataforma textil Guatemalteca, creada para valorar, preservar y promover el arte del tejido en Guatemala. Nacemos en momentos de crisis, para poder apoyar a los distintos grupos de tejedoras del país y así lograr la continuidad de la lucha por el reconocimiento y protección de los diseños Mayas como parte del patrimonio colectivo de las comunidades indígenas de Guatemala.
