I was originally born in El Salvador, moved to live to Guatemala in 1978. Being a tour guide for 20 years and exploring the communities of Guatemala, has been a travel experience for myself. I love to travel in the communities of Guatemala, spend time talking to people and taking photos of the daily life. Connecting travelers with the local communities is the most enjoyable part of my job. Learning, teaching and taking photos of the weavers and the textiles is my passion. I specialize in developing community experiences in Guatemala.
Born and raised in Guatemala, traveling is in my veins. I travel for work and for pleasure. I prefer to travel on my motorcycle as it allows me to go to remote unexplored destinations. I specialize in providing travelers with living, cultural and unique community experiences in Guatemala. I have found that the best way to get to know people is in their kitchens, so I find myself learning recipes and teaching some. Promoting community tourism in Guatemala is my compromise with the local communities.
I am certified by Audubon as a birdwatcher Tour Guide in Guatemala. I am committed with the communities to teach children about birds, so they can be in the future, important part of the development of community tourism in our country. I love to study and look for birds around Guatemala. Take advantage of your time and join me in my birdwatching adventures in Guatemala.
